فيه حد سمع عنPHARMA D COURSE ???
دا عبارة عن دراسة لمدة عام للصيادلة تمكنهم من العمل في الدول العربية و الاجنبية
و كنت سمعت ان نقابة صيادلة مصر اتفقت مع MIU ومع جامعة 6 اكتوبر لتدريسه
وبالفعل نزل اعلان في جريدة الاهرام بس للاسف انا لم اقرا هذا الاعلان و مش عارفة اوصل لاي معلومات اضافية
PLEASEاي حد عنده معلومات عن كيفية الا شتراك ىبعتهالي في المنتدي او حتي فى رسالة خاصة
وانا اول ما حاعرف اي معلومات حا كتبهالكو علشان لو حد عايز يشترك

تحية طيبة وبعد..
كورس الفارما أو الكلينيكل فارما ده سوف يبدا في شهر سبتمبر 2007 وسوف يكون بالتعاون مع مستشفى جامعة 6 أكتوبر باعتبار ان رئيس الجامعة اصلا صيدلي و يقدر جهود النقابة لذلك سوف تقوم جامعة 6 اكتوبر فقط باستضافته و سيتم التدريس فيها.
والصيدلة الاكلينيكية عبارة عن مشاركة الصيدلي الرسمية للطاقم الطيبي المشرف على علاج المرضى باختيار المواد الفعالة المناسبة لكل حالة و جرعاتها و اوقاتها وما شابه.
و هي دراسة رائعة بالفعلز
نعود اللدبلومة (وليس كورس)الدبلومة سوف تتم خلال سنتين دراسة نظري تقريبا اول سنة و تليها الدراسة العملية العام التالي و سوف يفتح باب التسجيل لها في شهر يوليو 2007 ولها مصروفات سوف تدعمها النقابة العامة للصيادلة.

انا سئلت في النقابة و بيقولوا ان مفيش عندهم اي معلومات عن الدبلومة واللي موجود فقط هو كورس كلينيكال في نقابة الجيزه ب185 جنية ارجو من يعرف اي معلومات عن الدبلومة يبلغنا للاهمية و شكرا

دكتور نحن مناخذ 5 كورسات كلينيكال في الكلية ممكن اقلك اسم الكتاب اللي درسنا منه لأن الورق اللي درسنا منه كان مختصر بس بجد هي المادة كتير استفدنا منها

how ask about pharm D , is equal to master (so after it you can registerd for phD ) , as it's 2 year , 1st - courses , 2nd - practical in hospital ,
* it's found only in Alex University it inerduced every tow year , but hte probelm is that there isn't practis for clinical pharmacy in the media in egypt
only in the oncology , liver institutes , but with in limited for hte pharmacy as we imagin about the clinical pharmacist and it's important role in health care team ,,,,,,,,,,,

في دبلومة صيدلة مستشفيات في جامعة القاهرة و التقديم يكون في أول نوفمبر
جامعة عين شمس اعلان الدرسات العليا هايكون من 15-7-200- الي 15-8-2007
شامل ماجيستير و أحيانا دبلومات بتكون محددة في الأعلان اللي ينزل
جامعة طنطا بنزل اعلان الدرسات العليا في أول شهر أغسطس و حتي ىخر الشهر .......
لكن الدبلومات لا, لكن يمكن يفتحوا لها التقديم السنه دية ... هايبان ....

First of all I need to apologize for writing in English but unfortunatly it is much easier for me.
................
About The PharmD or the Doctor of Pharmacy certificate.
I'm actually a PharmD student my self but through distance learning with an american university named Purdue
The PharmD is not a diploma, a master nor a PhD
it is a continuation of the normal pharmacy study, this is as per the new trend
it is like in collage of medicine you study for 5 years basic medical science then specialize for 2 years then there is clerckship, residancy & so on
when he graduate the doctor is called "MD" or medical doctor.
now the same concept is to be applied on pharmacy students
they will study pharmacy for 5 years then the pharmd specialization for 2 years then there is the clerckship or rotations & if he wants he could take a residancy & specialize in a field of pharmacy just like doctors specialize
when he graduate he is called a "PharmD" or a doctor of pharmacy
see the resemblance !
Now the PharmD pharmacist can work in any patient care facility, either retail or comunity pharmacy or he can work in hospital
PharmD pharmacist duties range from patient counseling to providing recommedations to other health care professionals regarding dose adjustment, better alternatives or patient monitoring parameters
he could also be responsible for dose calculation for patients, follow up drug plasma levels, ordering certin lab test & primerily individualizing the therapy based on certin patient parameters.
these are some of the activities that the PharmD pharmacist could be involved in.
The information I provided here is based on my understanding of the concept

Pharm D اختصار ل doctor Of Pharmacy وهى درجةمن شهادة دكتوراه محترفة لها مسميات عديدة منها first professional degree (http://www.answers.com/topic/ terminal-degree) أنّ يعدّ المتخرج صيدليّ ممارس ......
وكما نعلم كلمة doctor تستخدم للاطباء عامة هذا لايعنى ان الحاصل على درجة pharm D يعادل الطبيب Ph.D
اغلب الجامعات الدولية ألغت نظام bachelor's degree (http://www.answers.com/topic/ bachelor-s-degree) in pharmacy أى أن اقل درجة ستكون Pharm D
وكما نعلم ان نظام bachelor's degree (http://www.answers.com/topic/ bachelor-s-degree) in pharmacy يدرس فى 4 سنوات فى معظم الدول ماعدا الدول العربية فتدرس فى 5 سنوات
أضافة سنة خامسة تدرس بعض المواد المتعلقة بالطب مثل التشريح و التشخيص وبعض المواد بصورة اوسع مع العمل الميدانى لكى يصبح بمحاذاة الطبيب
فتسصبح الفرص العملية لديه اوسع وتضيق الفرص العملية للأطباء الغير متخخصصين أو ستلغى مهنة وطبيب عام ويصبح الأطباء من هو متخصص فقط

First of all Let me refer you to this gateway institute link which will help answer most of your questions

Actually I'm studying for my PharmD through this Institute not in the institute
Gateway is like a relay station between you & Purdue University in which you will be studying for the degree
You will receive your degree or certificate from Purdue just like a student who actually attended the school - or so I've been told
most of the study is done on your own either through the internet , the use of written material & Video recordings of the lectures that was done on campus
you may only need to go to gateway to register for courses, pay fees, sit for exams & aslo some occasional meetings held by Purdue Teaching staff.
As I mensioned eariler you will receive a degree exactly as if you attended at purdue which will enable you to sit directly for the NAPLEX exam... after all you are considered an amercian graduate now:p30:
Regarding the clerkship : up till now you will have to go to the US to do at least four of the seven months rotations
I hear now that purdue is evaluating Tawam hospital for rotations but I don't know if it is for the whole clerkship program or not
B.S alot of the pharmacists in Tawam are enrolled in this particualr program
but unfortunately I don't know any one else doning or have done the program on a personal level
as for the reputation you are graduating from purdue university whose PharmD program is rated fifth over US universities
I think that covered almost all of your questions....
ah.. almost forgot.. I graduated Tanta University in 1998
To get more relaiable & most up to date info on the subject I would recommend that you check gateway's website and/or email them with your concerns

yes i know gateway but i just feel worried about the distance learning idea being accepted here in our arabian world.there are many Pharm.D to get online like the one by Uni oF Florida

According to what I know Tawam Hospital is trying to host the clerckship rotations for the PharmD programs offered by Purdue University, school of pharmacy.
In the conference held by purdue in dubai this month, the subject was raised but purdue staff & Gateway management said that the subject is still under investigation, & no date was set yet

I hope that this was what you asked about


FYI: Tawam is a general government hospital in Al Ain, UAE
It is a very famous hospital in the gulf region
It is currently managed by Johns Hopkins Medicine
